Well one of cars ,myambiente estate skoda gearbox is knackered case cracked also trying to locate one having problems up here in scotland getting one. Have been quoted £1800 if i can find one looked all over up here in scotland no luck its went after 169000 miles on 02 plate. :x

A fella I know had problem with his crack, but good old Taxi Centre gave him £1,500 part ex on a new Octavia. :shock:

Cheers for that i cant even get the car into gear so cant move it.

Is it the SDI or the TDI, you can get a box from a VW or SEAT, You can also put the TDI box into the SDI, Skoda recomended it when the SDI boxes kept on going
