CC whats the latest, whining, grinding or is it now ground down to a powder?

I may well be trotting along to the far flung North East towards the end of October and if you are going to drive the less than Superb to the same venue, are ear defenders "de rigeur" for everybody attending?

I'll have to ask a still serving Matelot to get me some next time he's on the firing range - can I request a bulk order for you and your passengers? Are you perhaps, in the interests of disabled equality, only taking the Stone Deaf passengers (or those that soon will be)?

Your silence on the whole saga is deafening.

Just wondering CC is yours from the 1934 to 1942 batch?

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Škoda Superb
Škoda Superb
2nd generation of modern variants
Manufacturer Škoda Auto
Production 1934–1942
2001–present
Class Large family car (Mk1),
Executive car (Mk2)
Layout Front-engine design
Platform Volkswagen Group B platform series
The Škoda Superb is a large family car primarily built by the Czech car manufacturer Škoda Auto as its flagship car. The versions produced from 2001 to 2008 are based on the platform of the Volkswagen Passat, but are elongated by 10 centimetres (3.9 in), and shares its major mechanicals and powertrain with the Passat, and therefore the larger resources of Škoda Auto's parent company Volkswagen Group. It is currently the largest and most luxurious model in Škoda's model range.

The Superb name is a resurrection, originally used by Škoda for a similarly large models, between 1934 and 1942.

I'm not sure Chris, I think its the **** staff car version.

Its still whining, nothings fallen off, but the noise is getting very noticable.

I tend to turn the radio up......but not radio 1 though, because radio 1 would make my ears bleed.

In Cumbria its time to service the sheep in time for spring lambing not that he would get paid for that, but this is getting to be like the britannica enciclopedia all 26 volumes,
I wonder if he is scared of David attenborough turning up and doing a documentary on him opening his wallet as there are some endangered species in there, a Scotsman's sporran is meant to be impregnable, but his wallet is like the royal mint

I was at a regional meeting today in Sunderland, I was asked by a colleague how my cab was running.

I obviously gave a less than positive view of the Skoda's sh*te gearbox.

He told me he had two superbs with the same problem and had changed at least 5 gearboxes in other skodas.

Now who was saying this was the first they'd heard of this problem?

ffs

I am sorry that it looks, or rather sounds, so serious. Is it mechanic sucking teeth bad?

No matter what you get, if it has a wheel at each corner, sometimes it will go nipples upermost.

All joking aside, I hope the less than Superb gearbox transplant is successful and not to big a drain on the finances.

If you take one of the clubs and very carefully hacksaw off the single propellor blade, then neatly whip on some guides, finally fix a reel into position you can have a pretty cr#p fishing rod.

Taking this action will however stop the urge to have pointless, expensive, annoying walks around beautifully manicured pseudo countryside.

PS, retain the propellor blade - you can melt it down and use it for fishing weights or even make an acceptable lure. And just think - you have whole bag full to get better at the conversion technique.
