It looks like a house brick. What do you do with it, put it in the fuel tank?

So why would anybody purchase this?

If I wanted to stop my throttle going down to far I'd put a bit of wood or something under it.

Unfortunately I live in a rather hilly area where sometimes you need to push the throttle right down on a vehicle such as my fairway.

Good luck with "your invention" anyway. :)

I like the ecological message though

I hadn't thought of the problem with hills.Maybe on the production version I can tie a bit of string on it so you can pull it out for overtaking etc.

would shaving an inch off it be the same as having my engine chipped?

This one could get you into a lot of trouble under the trades description act. You clearly state that the central core is lead when in fact everyone else knows that it is in fact carbon and if placed in petrol there is a good chance that it could be absorbed into the fuel and thus increase the carbon immisions of the vehicle.
