| Post subject: | Fairway Driver Fuel Gauge and liquids |
Many thanks for all you help on my last post, really informative and got a few of the problems fixed (ie central locking now works - fuse blown). I really am beginning to enjoy owning a Fairway Driver, 'P' Reg, it's such a great car. But and there always it a but... Can anyone help with the following please... My fuel gauge reads full when i fill up the Fairway Driver but as I do about 125-150 miles it goes from slightly full to half and then to empty very quickly, the bloke I bought it off did admit that it is temperamental but I am ok for about 300 miles (using the Odometer as a gauge) can anyone give me a clue as to how to solve the problem. Oils and liquids... Can anyone help me in finding out which type of oils and liquids I will need to keep everything working ok. ie Engine oil (for the Nissan 2.7 Bulletproof Diesel), brake oil, clutch oil etc Many thanks for all your help in advance. |

access the fuel sender unit is in the boot floor. As for liquids? oil i use a semi synthetic and you need power steering fluid and general brake fluid and transmision fluid if auto box.Good luck ! |
