Can anyone help.

Basically my brake lights don't work, just found out on the M6 this morning!!

I have a LTI Fairway Driver 1997. I noticed that last night night whenever I was pressing on the brakes when the vehicle was stationary the back doors were not locking, but never thought much of it, but this morning on the M6 i had noticed in the reflection of a van's front window that my brake lights were not working can anyone help.

I have checked all of the fuses and they are all ok. I had this same problem a week ago but luckily I was getting a service and the garage simply changed the brake switch, but I do need a permanent fix without the hassle of driving 30 miles from work to get to the same garage.

Thanks for any advice in advance.

Sometimes the obvious is right. I have had 2 rear bulbs that have never illuminated and I hadn't a clue what they were. The car has been in for 2 MOT's and 2 council inspections and also a VOSA check and these lights have never been lit. The other day the back light was broken in a small accident and we fitted a new one and I changed the bulbs whilst I was at it. Guess what they are rear lights and both bulbs were not working.
