My Fairway Driver has the Van Aaken emission system (ex London cab). Now as I'm using this car for private use only is it OK for me to remove this system and go back to the original cab design? And if I do this what advantages/disadvantages will I encounter?

Will I get more power? More smoke? More or less mpg? Or is it not worth the hassle?

When I had the Van Aaken system fitted to my last cab, a TX1, I thought the MPG was slightly better.

It did run hotter in the summer though.

I'd leave it if I were you, what's the point if its all fitted.
