I don't know if its coincidence or not but my fairway makes a noise and seems to vibrate when turning left with a trailing throttle.
Jacking the thing up there is some play in the rear wheel, not up and down it rocks from side to side slightly like a worn front wheel would.Could this be the bearngs actually inside the diff or is it the outer bearings?.
Any comments from the ever helpfull forum members woul be appreciated.

My Fairway used to 'whine' whilst driving (just like the driver) which turned out to be the diff.

But that was in a straight line, round a corner etc.

Dont really think diff if only when turning, you wpould normally get some whine or grumble when driving sounds more like rear wheel bearing ?
