Post subject:	Fairway Driver's Door will not open
Can anyone please give me some advice. I have a P Reg LTI Fairway Driver and the Handle, push button mechanism doesn't seem to open the driver's door, I had the problem earlier this week and I managed to get it open with a bit of brute force, but it seems to be a bit harder to open this morning can anyone give me some advice as to how to open it and ultimately how to fix it so it doesn't happen again. Is it only the outside handle that gives problems?.

It is just the outside handle that gives the problem where you push the button.

I think that you'll find the button pushes on a lever that can get bent,then the button can't push it far enough to unlock the door.I might be wrong it's a long while since I had one in bits. The door locks etc are the same as a 90s transit,that might make finding bits easier.

you will probally find that a clip has fallen off the back of the handle. If you take the inside panel off its most probally fallen inside the door.Its circular and fix it inside the handle
