hi there...
ive seen some tx taxis with metal grills instead of plastic screen, do they still have opening to take money, and enough room to put chip and pin machine through, anyone got metal grille as opposed to plastic one

they do have a little hole for the money, but not too sure about chip and pin, that depend on th size on the machine. I personally wouldnt advise a cage as they are usually a magnet for d***heads. I had mine taken out and swapped for a clear plastic on and the passengers dont feel like they are locked up. thats just my personal opinion.

Check it out with your L.A to see if they allow them, I am sure that I heard somewhere that one L.A made the driver take it out.
