| Post subject: | dual mass flywheel |
well that's my 2nd DMF kaput, taking the clutch with it. 1st one was on warranty, this one to change to a solid flywheel is a £750 hit (supply and fit) at my mechanic, too scared to get quote from main stealer. Only done around 65k on it* as well, but that seems to be average on a Skoda, as far as I can gather. Happy Days.
*replacement DMF (96K overall) |

More of a crunch. But you usually get plenty of noisy/vibrating notice for a few weeks before. |

mine was more vibration and trouble getting gears, then no gears at all. |
