No mate still runing like a bag of swingers, I disconnected the battery the other week and left it overnight because it started raining when I was going to re connect it, the next day when I re connected it the MPG was well up into the 40's, I had to disconnect the battery again for 2 minutes a few days later and the MPG went back down to 19MPG. :cry:

Something isn't right somewhere, I've had the ECU reset but it hasn't solved the problem.

A change is on the Horizon I think.

is it SHOWING 15mpg, or have you checked it manually? (mileage/brim-brim)

Have you changed the MAS mass air flow sensor yet, That could be the problem

MAF, EGR, cam/crank sensers

leaving the battery off overnight clears the ECU of faults and error codes

if it will run sometimes ok it cant be too serious.............he said

Looks like crank sensors is the next step mate, can't see it being anything else TBH.

It provides data to the ecu on position of crankshaft so it knows when to inject fuel. Pretty simple and cheap part but can cause a hell of a load of problems.
