wasnt a long run, 10 miles part urban, mainly rural, no 6th gear, in fact no 5th! just call me lightfoot

that claimed 70mpg, has it been proven?

there are no 70mpg returns on spiritdemonitor, the highest being 66, the average being less than 50mpg

Mine has been in dock for the last 2 weeks first with clutch problems then yesterday the turbo went bell up. It's in G Diesel at Hucknall. Hopefully I'll get it back tomorrow.

Im torn between a change of vehicle or spending out on mine, ive had it 16 months, done 42K miles, it could use an aux belt and tensioner and a diesel diagnostic at swad diesels (the high altar of all things diesel) total for the lot, inc 4 new injectors about a grand then OF COURSE the DMF will go, i also have 4 less than perfect wheels (slight wobble at 80mph) but nothing i cant live with for now, at least till school breaks up mid july, plate expires august, badge july 31st

I am now on my second Superb, having covered 118,000 miles in my first car (130TDi Comfort).

Fuel economy is amazing. I was able to achieve a regular return of at least 48mpg on my daily commute which consists of very brisk driving. Take it easy, and you can squeeze about 640 miles from a tank of the black stuff.
Very highly recommended
