I have had some poxy luck with cars lately.............first of all the family car.........The fuel pump packed in = £250, then some smart ar$e two days ago has hit our parked car and smashed the head lamp which could be anything between £150/250 depending on being new or not. Then there is my E7, one of life's low lifes stuck his heel deliberately into the door panel of my cab just before xmas causing £200/250 in repairs/respray.................and then last night, nothing too catastrophic, but my drivers sun visor has gone all floppy on me and just drops down and will not stay back up. Question........are they spring loaded, are they repairable, or will Velcro do the job. |

Try the local scrappy for a replacement or just use velcro. |

cardiff? you know what im thinking............. Lol, yes a sun visor just to keep the rain out of my eyes. The weather has been very good for the last week or so, but the visor is used to tuck a fiver & tenner behind. That is for the twenty note person, which means I do not have to go delving for notes/change and possibly bringing out more than I want to. It is handy for that purpose. |

The problem was that the velcro would not stick permanently to the porous visor!!! Good ole Super glue does the trick and I managed not to stick my fingers together............what more could you want. |
