Roll of black gaffer tape should sort it. |

Thing to bear in mind, the plastic covering provides no mechanical function...it just encapsulates the sharp metal edges below. Providing the mechanism works OK then taping around the plastic shell should be OK. I have had black Gaffer tape around 2 of mine for the past 5 years...no problem in passing test...so long as the mechanism does as it should. |
