Hi I recently got a TX1 and the intercom is only partially working.

The passengers can hear me fine as the speaker (on rear parcelshelf) & driver microphone are doing their job fine, but I can't hear them.

Should their voice be carried through from the rear microphone to the radio speakers on the 2 front doors or should there be another speaker in the drivers area somewhere?

Is this an easy fix?

Sorry this is my first taxi so unsure myself.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dash

Hello Dashboy, Here is the way my intercom works. Turn on main switch then green light comes on , a second switch operates the speaker from the passenger compartment , a red light comes on when you are supposed to be able to hear the punter. You must have a seperate speaker in the driver section otherwise the radio would have to be turned off anytime the intercom was turned on . Hope this helps.

Not sure if this applies to the TX1 but look at my thread on this very subject ;)
