hi all. I have snapped ariel of tx2(early one with ariel on off side rear wing) do anyone know if those rubber ones you can buy fit straight on without having to run lead all the way through cab to back of the radio, is there a way round it |

If you are talking car stereo, then no, you will have to re-route the wiring assuming that you do not have the knuckle joint, and have a one peice ariel. There are a couple of things you may be able to do - you can fit a radio comms aerial, which will work fine to receive music. This can be replaced if broken, by just unscrewing and putting a new one on in future - so give it the 'unbreakable' edge, fit a spring base between the two - this will allow the aerial to get knocked about without breaking. |
