This kit will be available soon to make it possible to renew the front anti roll bar bushes on the E7 with the bar in situ. It will kill at a stroke the rip off by Peugeot dealers in flogging ARBs at 140 quid + fitting just because a rubber bush has worn out. It will first involve cutting through the U shaped clamp at both sides and removing the old bush and clamps completely from the bar. you then replace with the kit below. In future all you will replace is the bushes when they wear out.
Now why wasn't it done like that in the first place????
Long overdue.

They will be available mid January from a company called NEAT Autos in Middlesex. They are a Peugeot/ Citreon parts specialist and have been developing this kit due to the stupid original design. Seemingly the Boxer van has the same original set up so demand is there to make the bushes replaceable. The company were good enough to supply me with a prototype kit for appraisel and I can tell you it's superb. A bit fiddly to get the old brackets and bushes off with the bar in situ but once they're off fitting the kit is easy. I worked my first shift last night with it on and the front end is silent...no knocks and so smooth over the bumps. Be interesting to see how long the new bushes last but when they go, replacement is simple.
The kit should be about 50 quid when it becomes available so a massive saving on original.
No point in phoning them just now cos as I said the main batch won't be available until January. They're gonna let me know when they're available so I'll keep you posted.

It's time to use polyurethane bushes nowadays, they cost that little bit more (not much) but, they improve the handling of the vehicle and last much longer than rubber bushes.

It's not the bushes that's the problem. it's the fact that the brackets holding the bushes are welded together so they can't be removed. Hence at the mo you have to buy a complete anti roll bar at 140quid.

Update from Neat Autos:- "Shipment has left the port and on it's way, got another two weeks, sorry for the delay, got a 1000 pairs coming in, will contact you as soon as they land"

I guess they're being made overseas and shipped here. As soon as I know you'll know :p

So the French in their wisdom decided to make it a whole unit instead of a split unit? Sounds about right for them.

Nope...I've got a conscience  and anyway for some reason the Expert (E7) is the only Peugeot with this type of design. All other pugs have replaceable bushes.

When I had a (spit) S.hitroen Relay (actually built by Fiat (PSA)) i rang around [edited by admin], Fiat and Peugeot when i needed anything and found a wide variation in prices for the same part from each, has anyone tried that? Pug was the dearest, S.hitroen usually the cheapest
