hi all...
this may seem strange but problem i have is on a tx2, heated rear window dont seem to be working, when you press the switch on the dash it shows the light on as if it working but does not clear the rear window, any clues please

Not 100% sure on this but, it's most probable that there's a relay which controls the rear screen and it's fused separately. You should hear the relay clicking as you move the switch on and off. The relay is probably in the fuse box, if you don't hear it click then the relay is possibly faulty. If you hear it click, to find which one is for the HRS, move the switch on off and feel each relay in turn until you find the one clicking. The relay should be pictured in your handbook wiring diagram/fuse layout. Either that or there's a break in the wiring to the screen or possibly the +ve feed or earth connection at the rear has broken or dirty.

I'd say it's the element and it's either burned out due to use, or one or many of the hundreds of folks that have been in the cab have picked the element and broken the flow, have a look and see if there are any breaks in the element circuit or maybe even the link to the element has rusted away.hth.
