Post subject:  Peugeot E7 problem

I've owned this E7 for just over a year now, and have had no problems with it until yesterday morning.

Started OK first thing, and went out to the rank, where I'd ben sat for about half an hour, and the wee beastie would not start.

It was turning over well enough, so not a battery fault.

No error code.

Called the AA who plugged in his computer, again, no error code.

So a tow to the Main Dealer, where I left it in their capable hands.

Basically cannot find anything wrong with it after keeping it overnight.

Got it to start, and are doing further diagnostics.

I just know it will now do it again.

Any clues?

Sound like fuel issue. Maybe sticky pump?

And that's where my technical brain finishes.

However similar things on here http://www.peugeotforums.com/forums/ seem to say fuel pressure or immobiliser problem.

What sort of fuel are you putting in? Are you using supermarket fuel or branded?

A guy round here had loads of problems with his E7 and it cutting out and refusing to start, I told him to stop using ASDA and other supermarket fuels and use a top name fuel.

He's had no problems since.
