Enters stage left :D
160,000 for the 136 hdi
144,000 for the 1.6 hdi
Best to change both at 120,000 :D or 4 years what ever comes first

I think I'd do it a lot sooner than that.

Every 70000 recommended for the Pug E7 with the same engine. I wouldn't trust doing over 100000 with the same belt. Better to change the belt sooner than have to replace an engine 8)

Yes, the figures do seem very high, but cambelt change intervals have been gradually increasing over the years.

I'm sure there are more reliable sources on the internet for this kind of thing rather than relying on here though.

I'd say 70,000 miles tops. Better to spend £30 on a cam belt than replacing all them bent valves.

Yeah I just did timing belt on my E7 cos I didn't trust the dealer to have done it before I took delivery (cab bought 2nd hand with 70,000 on it and belt was just about due).
Changed water pump too, crazy not to as it's only 20 quid 8)
