 Post subject: nissan engine / gearbox

i,ve just put a nissan 2.7 diesel and autobox from a written off black cab in a old chevy

can anybody help and tell me what the 2 solenoids do on the box ??

i,ve wired one up and seems to kick down when in drive

Pretty sure ones a pressure solonoid

they are on exhaust side , one of them is at the front and one in the main body of gearbox

Think mAybe the other one is to do with kickdown, depends what year the box is aswell they cha ges it over on the p reg onwards

One is a kick down solenoid and the other is the overdrive solenoid.
