Hi all,

I've not long had my Fairway, but the interior door panels are marked with stains in the plastic. They're not dirty, but look as though they are, if that makes sense?!

I've tried everything to clean them, but had no luck. Can anybody suggest anything to clean or cover them with, or recommend anywhere that sells replacements.

Cheers.

Brown sauce or WD40 cleans most things, wife used it to get crayon marks off the walls when the kids where young

The old fashioned solid wax gets scuffs and stains from many plastic surfaces.

I've tried "everything" in order to clean the interior of my cab. Some detergents had nasty symbols on the bottle

The best by far so far... is old fashioned soft soap made from pine oil or tall oil.
I've used the liquid type (think double cream) and simply smear it on with a rag and leave it for 15-20 minutes.
Clean off with rag and water :D Very good in the faux leather? grooves of the plastic.

Worked a treat on all the black stuff left on head lining, red handles, and plastic panels. 15 yrs in London leaves a mark

Treated the plastic panels with a non-glossy, silicone free, interior shine product (name?)

My next head ache is how to fix the sagging headliner in the drivers compartment

All the BEST!
/M
