HI wonder if some one can give me advise regarding a Vito black cab.

The cab was converted by a company called Voyager MPV Ive tried asking them for help but all Ive had for 2 weeks is we will call you back and they never do.

The problem is none of the internal taxi controls work, the little red L.E.D in the control panel is lit up but the switches on the center control panel next to driver don't operate so I have no Intercom, door lock, lights in the back I did manage to buy a new control box that connects at the drivers foot well from above company but that did nothing, I have tried ringing about 20 Auto electricians and some mobile audio/visual installation company's where I live in Hull but no one could help me.

So if anyone knows what the problem could be, or a taxi electrician that could fix it near my location much thanks.

I thought all the taxi drivers hated the Vito because it's a cheap fake. The taxi drivers who have been forced to buy new genuine taxis for whatever they cost (like £45,000) were really annoyed when the regulations allowed the Vito to be a taxi. I saw one the other day with "Vito, the official London Taxi" written in the back window... though that was a bit sh1p.

As for the problem. I can assure you 100% you do not require a specialist taxi electrician. You've just been unlucky making your calls. You could try a car audio and alarms specialst as they have experience with after-market electrics. I could fix the problem you're having but I'm in London and certianly wouldn't do it unless you paid me to.
