having trouble with my 08 reg renault traffic taxi..engaging reverse is hit and miss..renault has diagnosied solenid problems..have replaced three of the five in the system,and now renault are saying that the others are not available with out the complete control unit,which is €3500..anyone else ever have these kinda probs???

A chum of mine had the Nissan badged variant, although it had the Renault engine. He had nothing but trouble with it and eventually got shot of it. |

I had one of those, got rid after it started lurching, they are reknown for having problems.....one driver had gearbox replaced under warranty, when it went again and was out of warranty he had it converted to manual...apparently not cheap and not easy to do.....but cheaper than replacing the g/box frequently. |
