Hi, can any 1 give me some advice on how to change the oil/fluid on my tx2 auto 2005, I guess you drain it from the sump but not too sure how to fill it, is it through the dip stick? And do you put 7.9 ltrs in? Any recommendations on what oil/fluid. Thanks

Yeah auto boxes get filled through the dipstick tube, normal ATF auto trans fluid should be good enough I would think, can't advise on amount of fluid though, someone will know :P

I would guess you could just fill up slowly bit by bit till you reach the "max" on the dipstick

If you dont know take it to your garage, and let them do it, around £120, ask for a new filter to be fitted inside the box
if you do it yourself and overfill the box you will knacker it
Fluid should be a cherry red if it looks black get it changed

Thanks for the advice, I think I'll leave it to the experts.
