Does anyone know of a good lubricant etc that would sort out wheelchair strap that clamps on either side of the chair(the part you pull to tighten). Over used strap has lost it shine and is a nightmare to pull tight to clamp or pull to release. Have tried WD40, polish, grease, bees wax, soap, candle wax, KY! Nothing seems to work, or if it does it lasts about 1 hour then seizes again. Do a lot of wheelchair work and apart from it being difficult to pull its in good nic and dont really want to fork out for another strap. Any suggestion would be gratefully appreciated!
