Next on my list of things to fix is the wipers - they only really work if it's really raining,i.e. the wipers are well lubricated against the glass by the rain. Most of the time they seem to struggle to get across the windscreen or don't move at all. If I spring one of the arms off the windscreen the other works OK, so the motor seems to be struggling to push them both.
I've taken the motor apart to check the brushes, but being relatively inexperienced with this I'm not sure if they are worn or not. See pic here:
If anyone is able to provide any advice I would be very grateful, as I'm not sure whether to replace the whole motor or just the brushes.
