Sorry to keep asking, my fairway driver has a rubber covered button where the manual says spare switch (left of hazard warning switch) guy I bought it off of said It heated the glow plugs, is this usual as I thought turning key did this. Also (last one I promise) It has a small aerial in center of roof and a ccds radio modem, does that mean it was part of Radio Cab Company like dialacab, if so can I just remove them and scrap them or must they be returned. Thanks again.

It could well be a heater plug button if it was fitted after, does the yellow light glow ? You can also usually hear them click.Sorry yellow glow plug light is to the right of the instrument panel(red, yellow, green light) As for aerial ect you dont have to give anything back.

That's not the Van Aaken light we spoke of on another thread? Stays red for a short time after engine starts? It is probably to do with the Van Aaken exhaust system

It did have the exhaust emission thing fitted, but has since been removed, so that would make sense.
