No Battery light

Post subject:  No Battery light

Any advice please, No battery light when I turn ignition, Has new alternator and Battery. Battery is not charging when engine is revved.

Have you checked the battery light bulb,if gone/blown it will drain battery

Yes, bulb needs to be intact to kick alternator into action. Also check the thin wire (blue perhaps, not sure) on the plug ( if yours has one) that goes into the back of the alternator, make sure this is connected and good contact, This is the wire that feeds the bulb.

Probably just older types with actual bulbs and not modern ones with LEDs and everything controlled by an ECU.
