Driver and interior windows rattle a lot when open, what do I need to fix them? I asked this over on the new http://fairwaydriver.org forum, then realized I was the only one there.

How do the seals/channels look which run down the inside of your window slot in the door? My fairway had very old felt channels, which had a lot of decay. There was a lot of room for movement, and air would also flow back into the car, making my arm very chilly at times... I replaced these with a thicker rubber channel bought from an auto jumble - it was only fixed with one screw, very easy to replace. That was my problem solved. |
