I don't know if they are the same as the set I put on my Fairway, but mine lasted about a week before the rust came through them.I ended up painting them with black paint.

I seem to recall the originals are the same as the Ford Consul.
Far better than the junk I bought which are advertised as being chromed on galvanised.
Galvanised cheddar,it would seem.

That looks good.
I'm glad I saw your picture,my wipers are useless and I've not been able to work out why.
Now I can.

See what I mean?
The passengers side wiper box is six inches further towards the nearside.

The wipers don't work too well, the passenger side one keeps hitting the screen rubber. It seems the wheel boxes are in a different position on the last fairways and they don't have the same problem.

Slightly different set up from m reg onwards, but same old sh1te.The wheel boxes get worn, also are your actual wiper arms strong enough ? If they dont grip the screen tight enough they will do that.

Perhaps I could photo shop my Rover p5b bumpers. I bought a scrap set, welded the holes and knocked out the dents and they still want £800 to chrome them.
