| Post subject: | Power Windows |
Can anyone help, my Power Windows on my 05 TX2 sometimes work then not work, have checked fuses all ok have checked wiring loom seems ok. Any ideas would be appreciated before it gets to cold and they stop when open. |

I don't know about your particular car but we used to have a similar problem on our stretched limos. The windows had a safety feature which meant that if they we being operated and something stopped them from closing properly, They would stop. What actually happened was that there were 3 plastic rollers in the motor that were designed to break when this happened. All you had to do was get 3 new rollers and replace them yourself. |

wiring problem more thank likely ,look on the maisey unit on the front left you have a large white plug pull it out and check if the pins in the board and the plug are burnt give the pins a slight bend clean them and push plug back on if it still does not go let me know and i can get it sorted. |

Funny you say that, when I check fuses etc and move the wires about the windows come back again, thanks again will look into this. |

Found a pin that was discoloured cleaned up working better now, when they stop again will know what to do in future. Many thanks. |
