Hi, When I got to indicate left, I have nothing. Its ok going right. I put the hazard lights on to check the bulbs and all are working. The fuse appears to be fine. Is there a seperate relay for left & right indicating? Or does this sound like the stalk has given up? Cheers |

Theres no seperate relay for left/right.Check theres no break in wires somewhere ( under front wing ? ) take the cowling off round steering wheel and see if the wires are chaffing there.Other than that stick your arm out of the window

If it is one side only thats working with the switch but they all work with the emergency flasher it sounds like the actual switch or the wiring from it thats at fault. All you can really do is try tracing the wires as they leave the switch and with the thing switched on check for a feed through the wires.Like much else on the fairways the electrics are pretty dismal in terms of reliability and quality, but the problem is possibly a bad connection, either loose or corroded. |

Right, I purchased a brand new indicator stalk. Just fitted it and I now have working indicators. The only thing is that my headlights/full beam seem wrong. I click the headlight switch once (headlights on), click it to middle (headlights go off), click it all the way back (sidelights on). I push the stalk back in this position and lights go bright. pulling the stalk towards me and full beam wont work. agggg electrics. Could someone tell me which wires go where into the back of the light switch? |

First, try switching the positions of the Blue and Brown wires at the back of the main light switch. If this doesn't work, you'll have to switch the positions of two wires on the indicator stalk. Use your old indicator stalk as a guide. |
