Hello all!

I am finally getting my two opposing out

Time to change the oil in the lovely automatic gearbox.

A few thoughts: After doing a lot of reading, some of it in actual bonafide printed books  I draw the conclusion that not all the oil will drain out by simply removing the oil sump. I do remember this to be true from way back in King Arthur times when I changed oil& filter in an unmentionable car from the colonies.

Would it be good idea to flush/rinse the gearbox, or are you supposed to replace only part of the oil each time?

Any and all opinions, thoughts, ideas etc. are more than welcome =D> =D> =D>

Thank You and all the BEST!
/Magnus

Don't forget the filter inside the box, take the cab for a drive to warm the oil, get it on a ramp remove drain plug catch oil in container then undo bolts on the oblong shaped plate on the bottom of the box, inside you will see the slim line filter, replace fitting a new O ring and plate gasket, then go through the procedure for refilling, dispose of the oil at the proper place or ask your local garage if you can use there oil dump
