how many people here fix there own cars? or would like to do more of there own maintenece?

anyone got any good tips? Heres one to start.... cat litter is excellent for mopping up spilt oil. :D

The hazard switch is another favourite.

Oh, and the gear-box, a couple of the lads have had more gear-box changes, than brake pads. :? :?
