Generally The Mercedes M8 is the top of the Bunch mine's a Vito Derivitive Its done 200.000+ miles never broken down or been of the road for Spares Running cost's not bad 38+ MPG mines a EURO 4 (its been Chipped for extra Torque) High cost Items you will use Prop Shafts £1000+ you can get them Repaired but never as good as new Also Merc's suffer from the famous Black Death ( LEAKING INJECTOR'S) This can prove very expensive but only having covered lots and lots of miles While ive owned mine also changed Alternator £450+ Window regulator £200+ both done internal fan, side door lock, rear spring and a couple of sets of Brakes + pads Generally im a happy owner. But I also service my Cab use premium Diesel BP Ultimate and use racing two stroke oil in the Diesel. |
