On the sliding door a metal insert at the top of the door locates into a plastic receiver located in the bodywork of the door frame, basically it stops the door rattling (of a fashion). Unfortunately the plastic receiver inserted into the frame, either comes out Or gets pushed through into the skin of the framework, forever lost until the day of dismantling. I have used silicone to try and keep it located which lasts for a while, but not as long as I would like! Basically I need something that will glue plastic to metal.......any suggestions please? |

Adjust the door to fit and the plastic cups last for ages. When the cups break up or disappear into the door pillar, adjust the door and fit a new cup, they are really cheap. If you glue one in successfully you will not adjust the door and do serious damage all of a sudden, it will cost much more than 100 cups will, to repair. |

I think that you can adjust them of a fashion, unfortunately much of it is down to passengers trying to slide he door down the street with great force. |
