hi
im new to the forum but enjoying the banter, I read on here that a Honda civic 2007 plus drivers seat can be easily modified to fit a tx taxi can anyone confirm this to be the case as I need a new drivers seat for my 2007 tx4 its getting tired and its torn and it was never very comfortable anyway a replacement from paton's would cost a fortune and really not a great seat any help would be appreciated.

i take it from your reference to patons your in glasgow

you cannot fit any other seat to a taxi in glasgow except the type you have, glasgow city council will fail you at test as it is not original equipment, your cab must be the way it left the factory,no exceptions allowed.your best course is to get one off ebay or from a breaker,(try gordon ried) but it must be the same as your original seat, hope this helps
