vent hose come off, or air con stuck open, or a faulty heating resitor card if they have them like on a normal car

My TX2 has a similar problem; When I use the aircon, I ONLY get cold air from the middle vents, and get warm air from the sides. Anyone know what causes this or how to fix it?

I have the same issue with this two vents by the door mirrors are hot and the ones for the feet in the foot well but the middle ones are cold. Doesn't bother me though just switch them ones off and there's more and enough heat to fill the driver area.

Apparently it's the design, you can't do anything, unless you cover the middle vents with something,in the summer it'll be the opposite you'll have hot air coming through the outer vents and cold air through middle ones, well done lti

The air con does not work if the belt is off.

I have this problem too.

With the aircon cooling on (which is [edited by admin] on the best of the days) I get warm from the outer two vents, then the other day I had to switch the heating on and still got cold air from the middle vents.

This can't be the design? What is broken then and what should I look for?

Switch the two middle vents off use the two outter ones near the window, and the foot well vents. This is what I do and it's roasting inside the cab to be fair, your only heating up the space between partition and windscreen, half the time I don't have the heating out the little heat that blows through manually is enough for me.

Looks like it's the same for most cabs reading on here

As far as I remember the middle vents are for summer use only ie;cool

Lol, I've got the opposite problem; I'm in LA so I need cooling, not heat.

The cooling is [edited by admin] at the best of times, but I have to keep the side vents shut otherwise I get heat.

So is that how the system is setup then? Middle vents only get cooling, and side/feet vents only get heat?

Seems bizarre to me? Never seen a split system like that on any car.....
