Hi Folks, Found this gem of a forum whilst searching the Internet in light of an issue I've been having with my TX2. Recently had a conversion from a TX2 to the 2.7 engine from a TX1. Firstly the parts I have replaced since this issue has arisen are: Water Pump Radiator Thermostat Full system flush. For the taxi to heat up there must be about 5-10 minutes of solid driving, once you slow down, cold air. Obviously one of my last fixes will be the Matrix, could this be my issue? I will attach a few photos to show the engine bay with the new parts etc and if someone could as much to enlighten me to what the issue is or if they are having something similar I would like to hear your fix! https://goo.gl/photos/1BNiQD4TgzpTYswE7 https://goo.gl/photos/PRdHrM5jhpiZm9Yw9 https://goo.gl/photos/zB4xL4Qmvz4weKUB9 https://goo.gl/photos/hMRkrtHWhXSDJSv38 |

It could be worth having a look at the heater supply and return pipes due to the length and that the flow from the engine flows through the front heater matrix and onto the passenger matrix before returning to the engine thus plenty of areas to get airlocks to check this remove the flow and return hoses from the engine and run a hose to bleed air out ensure the heater valve [brass tap by rocker cover is open] |

Check the original TX2 heater check valve attached to the heater box is not jammed in the close position you'd be surprised how many times this is the cause of bad heaters its through lack of use that they jam up. |
