 Post subject: E7 p filter low sign

Just had 'p filter low ' sign come up on dash apparently it's a common fault on pugs at 110k, anybody had same?. Sounds like it could be costly or not

Sounds like the dpf fluid (eolys I think it's called) needs replenishing.

Sort of, it does the same job but 2.2 litres last around 100,000 miles or so. There is a pouch underneath the vehicle that needs refilling and then the EML will need resetting using diagnostics.

Garage in our town does it for £85 including diagnostics, Peugeot charges more than double that.

I've been quoted £120 all in by my usual garage. £170 to £230 by 1in Sheffield.

there will more than likely a tube vid showing how to refill it, then get yourself a cheap diagnostic reader and reset it yourself
