Recently bought a TX2 Auto.

When the box goes into overdrive it's nice and fine but as soon as I touch the accelerator, the gear drops back into 3rd and starts screaming its head off. Let go of the throttle and the box goes straight back into overdrive. Just the slightest touch of the pedal makes it drop a gear.

Is there anyway that the cable needs adjusted?

It's already a killer on MPG but it takes the mickey on a country job at 50mph

Can't help you as to how to fix it, but it's definitely not the right behavior - mine does up the revs obviously but it shouldn't be dropping down like that.
