Post subject:  Tyre fault?

Had a slow puncture, took tyre off, inner rim is leaking, luckily tyre id due for renewal but...............



then i found this on the INNER rim (leak isnt from this area)

On the Inner rim on the Kerb side or inner rim on the Wheel arch side?

the inner side, so not kerb damage

I'd say it's damage done whilst fitting/removing. A (reputable) tyre place will tell you - one with properly trained fitters.

No..I meant the inner part of the wheel rim, the bit that seals the wheel and the tyre well...there is one of those each side of the wheel.
