Tell me, im an old spannerman, but how many cars that we might use (Mondeo,Passat,Superb) have any adjustment on steering+suspension other than the track rod ends (to adjust toe in/toe out)?

My lad paid £50 for 4 wheel tracking on a Pug 508 and had to go back twice as the car wanted to go right.....and then more right..

I appreciate 4 wheel tracking may show a problem but can anything other than track rod ends be adjusted?

or is it a con?.........son got the £50 back

Some of the National Tyres and Autocare branches have Corghi Black Tech wheel alignment systems for customers who require four wheel (front and rear) alignment. This system differs from standard front wheel alignment and utilises 8 high-definition digital cameras and is entirely automated. An additional charge is incurred if the customer requires this, branch staff will agree this in advance of any work undertaken.

We have had a problem with the cast and camber on a vehicle for years. The tyres wear more quickly because of it but it is not adjustable. The Lincoln Towncars that we used to have could be adjusted for caster and camber also for toe in and out through a separate adjustment on the ball joint as well as the track rod end.

Its passed 2 MOT's in 6 weeks and runs fine, no pull on braking and seen 55mpg so i doubt any of the above...

Always get tracking done on the 4 wheel laser alignment where they have the car in the air and adjust all 4 wheels
