Not sure yet if I need one yet but,has anybody had a new alternator?.what is the going rate ?. I have a 62 plate teepee E7. |

I had an OE one fitted a while back on a 59 E7 it was around £250 fitted. |

Not familiar with the abbreviation x-ray ,I assume you mean secondhand/overhauled ?. |

OE = Original Equipment, as in what was fitted at the factory. So if Bosch was fitted as factory standard it would be OE as opposed to Lucas which would not. Likewise if you get the part from a main dealer it will be OE, from a parts store either OE or another make. |

OEM is the full term and is often used on websites etc - Original Equipment Manufacturer As opposed to aftermarket parts. |
