 Post subject: E7 tailgate problem.

Anyone had any issues with e7 rear tailgate won't open? Any idea what it may be. Had a look at the obvious broken wires but can't find anything really. Don't think the buttons broke or anything.

Mines sticks quite alot too.
I spray sillicone spray directly into fixing on the tailgate and that works. I dont know if its a wiring problem. The spray is a short term fix

Which fixings do you mean the hinges?

It ended up being a contact issue on the switch.
