Hi guys hope your all well, I’ve got a TX4 10 plate, issue I’m having with the cab is when your turn the key to start, it starts to fire up very slowly then electrics cut out all the lights on dash go out,similar to like a flat battery, turn the key to accessory lights come on dash, turn the key again to start then electrics cut out and sometimes a few click noises, changed the battery twice which it’s flattened twice,tried jump starting it with leads, leads become quite hot but same thing happens clicks and then electrics cut out, can hear starter engaging occasionally, all the wire connectors from battery to starter are nice and tight, just can’t figure out what’s going on, The cab seems to be drawing a lot of electricity. Any suggestions what I should look at or what the issue could be... the best way I can describe this as if losing connection when turning key, having the key in position 1 everything works radio, lights,etc issue when I turn the key to start. Any help and advice appreciated. |

same cab same year same problem was the immobilizer |

Update… It turned out to be the starter, replaced with new one and no more issues. |
