As title folks, when I turn the heater blower to any speed I get nothing from the vents towards the windscreen, all the others work fine when selected, front vents, footwell etc are all fine, just nothing from windscreen, All the pipes are connected, the motor arms moves when directional dial is turned, anything else I can check? 61 plate TX4. Thanks |

Could it be the 'Blend Actuator'. There are 3 attached to the heater blower box. 1 at the bottom left side, 1 at the top right side and the window demister top left. You have to strip the front facia to get access to them. I had a 'Woody Woodpecker noise coming from the dash and it only happened when I turned the knob for the front blowers. Turned out to be the right hand actuator. The cog that turns the flap open had broken. Had to just disconnect it as the part is not available. If i could upload a pic of the heater unit I would.
