I am thinking of buying a Mondeo for a second cab from a V reg upward and diesel, has anyone had a problem with the timing chains or are they OK, or the mass air flow sensores, or any annoying problems in general

Make sure its just had the fuel pumps replaced - costing over a grand a time and not lasting 80k!?!?!? Just about every Y reg onwards one that I know of has had the same problems; one guy even has a 55 plate one that has had to have a new pump!

Petrol models seem far better in comparison, or buy and old shape one.
