Talking of meters, have you seen the trade prices on them lately. There is little or no mark-up. The manufaturers expect you to earn your money from fitting it without any commission on the sale.

Frankly, I think its disgusting. It makes being a proper meter agent a totally worthless occupation. Cannot see why people do it anymore.

Thus, if they come already fitted, so much the better.

Best thing, is to buy your meters direct from the manufacturer rather than the importer, its the only way you can earn a proper mark-up.

After struggling for 4 years to get a scheme to tender, and I know it was a difficult vehicle tender for you to price, to decided you were not building mini buses to concentrate on taxis.

hense, the only alternative taxi builder with any credibility couldnt give a price, we were told, at the last minute!

The next best option was at the last minute was to try patons, whos taxi is built by voyager?

yer going to have to learn Jude, that having a monopoly, even if given by lousy competition has its responsibilities!

I hope the scheme is still achievable.

Hi Judy,

Will you fit a bulkhead in a Merc V112 for me?

If so, how much and when could you do it?

Only problem is, I want proper rear-facing seats that are as comfortable as the forward facing ones. Possible?

Sorry, we don't do conversions on the Vito, we have built on the Toyota (unitl Toyota UK decided to stop importing the twin door hiace into the country - apparently there is no demand) and will be looking a the VW T5

mmmm. A bit of misuunderstanding here. We are not a big company, we have never been in the minibus market in a big way. Your council is a nightmare, their tendering questionnaire was far too intrusive and the sort of buses they were asking for we have never built. IF you have any further comments perhaps you would like to call or email me direct.
